Allergy treatment methods

Immunotherapy – desensitization

Immunotherapy aims to achieve tolerance of the allergen to which the patient is allergic, and as a result eliminate or reduce allergic symptoms. It has a prophylactic effect – it inhibits the development of new allergies and the development of bronchial asthma.

The method consists in administering to the Patient small, gradually increasing doses of the modified allergen to which the person is allergic. Immunotherapy is the only, apart from complete elimination of the allergen, method of causal treatment of allergic diseases.
