The Diabetes Clinic deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes and its complications

An indication for a visit to a diabetologist is an abnormal level of glucose (sugar) in the blood

Diagnostics and treatment:

• type I diabetes
• type II diabetes
• gestational diabetes
• secondary diabetes
• hyperglycemia
• hypoglycemia
• insulin resistance

For the first visit to the diabetologist, you should bring:

• blood test results – complete blood count, ESR, creatinine, urea, electrolytes, ALT, HBA1c, TSH, lipidogram, uric acid and general urine test
• the result of the examination of the fundus of the eye by an ophthalmologist
• list of medications taken, with doses and dosages
• previous medical records
• sugar measurements (for 3-4 days, about 6 times a day – before and 2 hours after a meal).
