Implementation of a minimally invasive endoscopic technique in spinal surgery in the treatment of spinal stenoses with the possibility of endoscopic denervation
Centrum Medyczne Gizińscy Sp. z o.o. is involved in the project co-financed from European Funds, titled “Implementation of a minimally invasive endoscopic technique in spinal surgery in the treatment of spinal stenoses with the possibility of endoscopic denervation”.
Project’s aim: Implementation of a world-class innovation service – minimally invasive endoscopic technique in spinal surgery in the treatment of spinal stenoses with the possibility of endoscopic denervation.

Project description:
Widespread methods of treating the symptoms of spinal stenosis are pharmacological therapy or physical therapy. However, the best way to treat not only the symptoms but also the causes of spinal canal stenosis is bone decompression by means of laminectomy, central flavectomy or hemilaminectomy. In about 70% of cases, pharmacological treatment and physical therapy do not bring the desired effects, which makes it necessary to perform surgical treatment.

Basic disadvantages of the currently used solutions:

Long procedure time and the need to hospitalize the patient
Highly invasive characteristics of the operation
Significant violation of the structure of the tissues of the patient’s body
Greater traumatization of the skeletal system
Possibility of complications during the operation.
Basic advantages of the innovative service:

Shorter surgery time
Reduced hospitalization and recovery time
Less risk of infection
Less traumatization of the skeletal system
Smaller exposure of the patient and staff performing the procedure to X-rays during the procedure
Less postoperative pain – faster recovery
The material scope of the project includes the purchase of fixed assets: a lumbar set – laminar access, a set for stenoses with a set for blades, a set for endoscopic denervation / nucleoplasty, an irrigation pump for denervation with a set of reusable drains, radiothermia for neurosurgical procedures, a drive set for endoscopic surgical procedures spine, vision set – camera for endoscopy of the spine, set – trolley for endoscopic equipment.
