  • diseases of the pituitary gland,
  • disorders of sexual maturation (premature or delayed),
  • congenital disorders of genital development and sex differentiation,
  • thyroid diseases (hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, nodular goitre, neutral goitre, autoimmune thyroiditis),
  • adrenal diseases,
  • testicular or ovarian dysfunction,
  • eating disorders (obesity, anorexia, bulimia),

For your first visit to a pediatric endocrinologist, you should bring:

  • blood test results – complete blood count, glucose, lipidogram, iron and magnesium levels, TSH, FT3, FT4, anti-TPO, anti-TG and vitamin D3 levels,
  • ultrasound of thyroid,
  • previous medical records,
  • list of medications taken.
