Hepatology

The Hepatology Clinic deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts.

The most common indications for a visit to a hepatologist specialist:

  • stomach pain,
  • abdominal swelling,
  • diarrhea,
  • vomiting,
  • palpably enlarged liver,
  • darker colored urine,
  • yellowing of the whites of the eyes,
  • loss of appetite.

When visiting a hepatologist, you should bring:

  • blood test results – ALT, AST, GGTP, ALP, total bilirubin,
  • previous medical records,
  • list of medications taken.
