Experience

She gained her professional experience over 15 years of work, initially at the Diabetology and Endocrinology Clinic of the University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz, and then at the Department of Gastroenterology and Nutritional Disorders of the University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz, where she currently works and performs endoscopic procedures – gastroscopy and colonoscopy, pH- esophageal and anorectal manometry. Treats and consults patients with various diseases of the digestive tract.

Since 2003, she has been working as an academic teacher, teaching 3rd, 4th and 5th year students from the Faculty of Medicine of the Collegium Medicum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Polish and English (for foreign students) in the fields of: gastroenterology, internal medicine, endocrinology and diabetology.

In 2009, she defended her doctoral thesis, earning the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences.

Promoter of numerous bachelor’s and master’s theses of students from the Faculty of Health Sciences in the field of dietetics.

As one of the few in the region, she performs manometric and pH-metric tests of the esophagus and anorectal manometry tests.

Author of numerous publications in the field of gastroenterology, endocrinology and diabetology in specialist Polish and foreign magazines and an active participant in many conferences, workshops and trainings in Poland and abroad.

Constantly tries to deepen his knowledge in gastroenterology in relation to the latest methods of diagnosis and treatment by participating in international courses and conferences.

A member of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology and the Polish Society of Internal Medicine.

diabetes, eating disorders, diverticular disease of the large intestine, irritable bowel syndrome, esophageal diseases, achalasia, esophageal motility disorders, gastric and duodenal diseases, liver diseases, pancreatic diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases – Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
