1982 – Graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy
in Gdansk.
1st degree (1985) and 2nd degree (1990) specialization in general surgery.

1999 – Doctorate (PhD) in medicine.

2004 – Postgraduate studies in Organization and Management in Health Care.

2021 – Obtained the title of Professor doctor in the field of medical and health
sciences.

He is an author and co-author of numerous scientific papers and congress
reports, published in Polish and foreign scientific journals / presented at scientific
meetings and conferences.

Coordinator for teaching surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University
of Bydgoszcz, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun.

Experience

From the beginning of his professional career, he has been associated with
Dr. Jana Biziela University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz.
Works in the General and Minimally Invasive Surgery Clinic.
Works as the Coordinator of the Hospital Clinical Nutrition Team and the
Endoscopic Laboratory in the General and Minimally Invasive Surgery Clinic.
Works in the Surgical Clinic (Large Intestine/Oncology).

Diagnostics and treatment

• Diseases of the digestive system, qualification for surgical treatment of digestive
tract diseases (gallstones, inguinal and abdominal hernias, diseases of the large
intestine requiring surgical treatment)
• Removal of skin moles
• Post-hospital care (changing of dressings, removal of stitches)
• Treatment of purulent skin lesions, such as shot, paronychia, abscesses, and
boils
• Removal of ingrown toenails
• Care of the digestive tract stoma (ileostoma, colostoma)
