The aim of rhinoplasty is to change the size and shape of nose. Both women and men benefit from this type of treatment.

Before surgery

Like any surgical procedure, rhinoplasty is preceded by a medical consultation during which the patient’s general condition will be assessed and expectations regarding postoperative effects will be established.

The course of the procedure

The procedure usually takes 1-2 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. After the procedure, an immobilizing dressing is placed on the bridge of the nose and setons are placed in the nasal ducts.

Upon discharge, the patient will receive individual recommendations from the attending physician.

Post-treatment recommendations

The basic postoperative recommendation is to keep the immobilizing dressing on the bridge of the nose and limit physical activity.

Upon discharge, each patient will receive information about individual treatment during recovery from the attending physician.

Facial bruising usually lasts for 3 to 4 weeks.

The final shape and appearance of the nose is assessed after at least 12 months after the surgery.
