The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes two to four hours. The hospital stay usually lasts two days, during which patients are under constant, professional medical care.

Post-treatment recommendations

After the surgery, it is recommended to wear a compression garment for 10-12 weeks, also at night, and to limit physical activity. The patient will be informed when to come for a follow-up and have the stitches removed.
